Well, just emailed Andrew and he says he would have to check for availability, but that the factory is on hiatus. So I will not place an order till the waters calm a little. Bummer.

The differences between 5712s model

Power reserve:
Early model - 1 dot
later model - 2 dots

Fonts:
Early model has thinner fonts than later model

Moon phase:
Later model has bigger stars (only stars) than early model
