Anyone made the plunge on the new 1xxx series yet? Curious to hear your views.

Particularly interested in the ZF ones as they seem closest to gen right now.

Ive got a couple en route... 1312 and 1523 (kw v3):but keen to hear from other owners too.

Yea, I saw somewhere in the forum someone saying that the new batch with the 1- prefix have much reduced flaws. Be sure to update us with pictures

I wonder what the QC people are thinking... Do they just look away when something is so obviously off?

looks OK to me, my first rep so not really sure what to look for here.

date seems small but compared to gen seems correct??
dial seems angled but I think it's just the angle of the photo/watch?

The new batch has the correct longer lugs compared to the ones on the old (1st) batch of 1xxx reps.

The new batch has the correct longer lugs compared to the ones on the old (1st) batch of 1xxx reps.

Also the thinner lugs (height wise). This is usually indicative of the thinner case.

Currently the main difference between the ZF and KW V3 is the movement, ZF is using the A7750, KW V3 is using the Seagull.
