Yes the 116 Gen Crystal fitted very well and needed no modification of the rehault

Strange since all my cases needed modification in order to fit a gen spec crystal.
did you buy yours from a trusted source?

I think it's safe to assume that there have been minor changes to the rehaut and retaining ring dimensions from the 6542 through the last 1675, or 16750. I wish I knew what years were bigger or smaller, but I consider the Raffles rehaut accurately sized. It doesn't surprise me that some genuine crystals would fit. By any chance, have you measured the rehaut on your MK 2?
