would fit - but the 40th anniversary edition uses a completely different font compared to the other (gen) 5711 models.

So you could swap it (even if the JJF DWO releases) but it wouldn't be that much more gen-like - if that is your aim. :)

Got the tracking number already! Guys, really nice setup you have done by the way, great work on the website to buy them overlays.

Quick question: how do you make sure the overlay is 100% aligned before glueing it? Are there some good tips & tricks from the veterans? And which glue would you use? (I assume no super glue or anything that produces fumes of any kind, of course).

Interesting statement.. never knew the 40th anniversary doesn't have the same DW as the normal 5711

Different DW font to match the dial engraving/embossing.

Maybe to achieve a new look - maybe to protect the current 5711 market from aftermarket versions - maybe just because PP „can“ do it - i dont know hehe

regarding the white dial - better look all over, better hour markers.

issue with that one was the different date window position compared to the PF dial - so we had to make another DWO.

And of course - if you like the JJF blue more you could also slap this in the PF

JJF is close to the 9.8mm thicker and uses deco place not engraved miyota. The white dial is spot on to the old reffrence natulis with the gray date wheel sorrunding not the actual black one.

Very nice! Did you get the markers @12' realigned or did they come like these? Just ordered one and I want to keep my hopes up, ha.
