The darkness isn’t an issue, gen is quite dark under artificial light, it’s the fact it’s a purpley blue rather than grey blue that’s the issue. Looks slightly better than previous attempts though, could well be worth a go!!!

I may pull the trigger on this, and determine whether I should keep over my PF with DWO Mod. Considering it. Waiting to see the photos from Puretime, and Yoko videos (which inevitably follow a release) before pulling the trigger on this.

Best one yet, still not quite there tho.

I feel the same, but there hasn’t been a blue dial Nautilus in the DC collection since the BP V1 left, and this is the first Nautilus new release that has made me stop and take a closer look and say “Hmm, this could work”!

i had high hopes for the blue - unfortunately the color spectrum is not big enough and the fumé sunburst effect is missing - even judging by those pictures.

Please surprise us with some decent videos dear chinese friends :D

did anyone check yukoo lately?

correct me if i'm wrong but the dial is completely wrong for a blue dial 5711? there shouldn't be an 'outline' (i.e. the writing should be printed on the ridges) on the writing?

The new version (post 2017, I believe?) has the outline. So, the "outline" is actually correct. Older Nautilus models did not have the outline.

It’s unbeatable right?!

I maintain that the “greentilus” as it became known was actually a closer colour to gen than all the bright blue versions since (MK, PF etc), that’s why I never bought another one... until now possibly!!

Unfortunately that’s not the case. BP v1 is nice but nowhere as close to gen as MK or PF versions.
2nd edition blue dial is as bright as MK and PF then they switched to more greyish blue dial.
gen 5711 blue dials never had greenish tint like BP

Are you sure? It’s so hard to see a gen in the wild that I honestly don’t know, but from most photos/videos of the 5711/1a I see it is definitely blue, I’m not saying it’s green (I do have eyes haha) but on the blue spectrum it’s more in the green direction than the purple direction, no?

All reps appear to be a slightly purple blue, which is not a colour I have ever seen in a Nautilus dial gen photo!

Blue is completely wrong but otherwise it's nice. What a shame.

It's as if they went for the blue colour that's on the 40th anniversary model.
