There isn't any conspiracy about the 300 original orders. Many guys, including, myself, placed multiple orders before we got one to go though successfully. Each order attempt generated an order number. I had to place 4 orders and some guys were reporting 8 and more. So those 300 orders might have only been 150 watches that were actually paid for.

I had to make 2 orders myself

I don't think it will make that ship date. Angus said that he has not seen the crystals yet so I'm sure that will delay the time.

Yep , just got with Angus, hes now estimating they will ship by the end of the month...

Im cool with that.

Lol. Se why I never get in on pre-sales ? Show me a watch in stock, I'll show you the money. These have become ways of raising funds to finance a project.

We can only go by what Angus is telling us, and as of now, he is ESTIMATING they will ship by the end of December. That is the preorders.

Good luck with that. Cross your fingers that it doesn't carry into CNY, or you won't be seeing anything till Spring.

It doesn't shock me at all. I never believed it would ship in December. I preordered anyway because I am dying to have this watch whenever it launches.

It doesn't shock me at all either and I went in knowing I wouldn't see it until after the new year. It's not a huge deal to me that it keeps getting delayed. I had to pre-order because it's one of my favorite watches and Angus said that the fully engraved movements were limited. In the end of this I do hope we get a dam good watch without big obvious flaws or movement problems. I also hope that when it's finally release we will get the most updated pearl, since Angus said the pearl was ever so slightly off.

I want it as well. But as I have said before, I will not finance anyone's projects without a good interest rate on my capital. Most of us here have learned ( sometimes the hard way ), that patience is a virtue in this hobby. Why should the forum members become an interest free bank loan to a dealer ? No way.

If it were any other dealer other than Angus, I'd steer clear from a pre-order. But the terms were clear as an AR'd crystal, and I ordered just to get my place at the front of the line after the year wait. I'm fairly confident Angus would hand me my money back as well if I asked nicely, but I really want that watch.

BMW760, I definitely see where you're coming from on the interest free loan part. Angus is a businessman and he knows all about this. I bet you'd take advantage just the same if you were in his spot. After all, I dont think he can head into his local PBOC branch and take out a loan to finance a rep project, or can he?

I want to badly to go out and buy the gen already as this is one of the most interesting watches I've seen in a while, yet the design is so simple. I will wait, if it gets to CNY, so be it. Im sure we've all waited some rather extended periods of time for a watch and this is no different.

Frankly, I'm getting fed up with this whole process. I placed my order 11/14/13. It took almost a month to get Angus to approve the

PayPal payment for me. As of today, they haven't followed up with the order. Probably will be sold out by the time I get to it.

I like Angus, but his system is kinda disorganized- maybe too many orders. He's become the Rep King no doubt, at least here on the boards.

+1. I was ready to jump on the preorder but once I found out it was a mock up and not a true finished result - I backed away. I want to see the thing actually built and assembled to the level of what we are to receive.

Yeah I actually put an order in and checked the bank transfer box, got an email saying they would send out the details, never came..

Not complaining now because like tony, I would like to see an actual finished product...

It it really is crazy how many people just fork over hard earned dollars for something they haven't seen, don't shoot me down I know he's a trusted dealer but damn... 400 + orders at $300 a piece, you do the math.. That's $120,000 USD. And let's not forget, he is just the liason between is and the factory, sure he puts input in and may spend some time there.. But he is a businessman and we can't forget that..

Just some of my thoughts..

Early adopters always get burned, don't worry finished product will be better
