My Ulysse Nardin Blue Surf from HONT!!!

I dont know (although I have their catalogue at home {where you can see the amazing FREAK}, so I could look it up)
but honestly, I dont care
if its not real, does it matter how unreal it is?
I like things that look good and work (which is why I would be happy with quartz everywhere, but I digress)

just so you know it, too:
i heard that the rose gold will follow in approximately 1 month or so.
--> then, the black surf would be accurate and not a fantasy anymore
--> and the blue surf would be available in rose gold case
However, I was walking by the store over lunch and looked at some of this years UN watches...to check out the color combinations. I cannot decide whether i like the blue dial/steel or the blue dial/rose gold better.
- the blue dial / rose gold looks a little bit too fancy for my taste. it looks very warm, though.
- the blue dial / stainless steel looks very cool (temperature cool i mean)...i think it looks more "nautic".
- the black dial / rose gold looks very dressy and not too fancy. very nice actually.
shit! i don't know what to do...
also, there are the maxi marine chronometers that were released today which make the decision even more difficult.....

If I was interested in the blue at the beginning (still no blue watch in my collection), the RG Black Surf is really calling me 
I have already a Black MMD and decided not to take the RG version when I bought it, due to the wrong rotor color.
So my question is : is the rotor correct for the upcoming RG Black surf ?

i think you are right. the black one with the rose gold may look really good! classy and nice.
andrew already shipped my stainless steel blue surf today. so i'll have that one anyways. but i mean, the other UNs (maxi marine chronometers) are $120 at hont's, which is really cheap, so....other color combinations can easily be tried out without tearing a big hole into your wallet. maybe i get a black / RG maxi marine chronometer.
sorry i'm a little drunk as we just had some apero at work.
Great review, as a side note I was invited to a "Fashion Night"..featuring Boats Exotic Cars a custom spec home in a neighborhood in a beach community..Custom jewelry and over 30 UN watches!!! including the all new Black model serial number 4 !!! Needless to say between the cars , boats and Watches (none of which were anywhere near affordable) I was in Heaven...325 mega million lottery 2night maybe I will get lucky LOL
Why is this watch 17mm thick? The gen appears to only be 12.5mm thick? Can anyone comment on this????
