Yes. Way darker. I bought an OEM as well and like them both. Will use them interchangeably depending of the occasion I guess.

After waiting for 2 years, I finally bought one and I received it today.
The overall quality is good (as expected) and like all other ZF-pilots. The crystal is clear and has a very good AR. The bracelet is of very high quality.
I'm still dissapointed.. because of the dial colour. The blue is a different tone than the gen. It's brighter, more greyish, more matte and less sunburst. Under warm light it's purplish, although not as much as on the pics. In certain lights and angles, it looks ok, like on the first picture below.
But generally, it's nowhere close to the fantastic gen.

I recommend to buy the one which you like better. The black is more gen-like.
But the blue is also nice. Below another picture of the ZFV2 replica, just in a different light (no filter):

It does look really nice !! Do you happen to know if it is easy to mount an ETA Valjoux 7750 - feet, dial and hands without mods?
This I don't know... but why would you do that anyway? Just buy the watch and enjoy it as it is. I have now 3 watches with this movement. .no problems so far.

I have a spare ETA valjoux, and I would feel more confident using the chrono. Plus, I used to have a ZF 377701 and the power reserve was bad like real bad (6-7hrs).
I have very good power reserve with A7750. I haven't measured how long exactly, but after light use gen ETA 2824 often didn't last for a day unused. I don't have the same issue with A7750.
Wanted to address the sunburst discussion particularly with the new ZF V2 version. I just got mine from chazing and am very pleased (with the exception of the strap) which as many agree is not very good. Mine in fact is a different color from the original darker brown Santoni. I bought a used original Santoni and it makes a huge difference. The blue dial is gorgeous and although it might be slightly lighter the the gen it comes pretty close. I went to a local AD and can attest to it. Here are some pics of the sunburst as captured by my iPhone X.
Here is a pic of the straps. The rep one is way lighter and feels plasticky. The difference with the original Santoni is noticeable.
I have a custom one coming from ziczac and will post new pics once I get it.
But overall I can say that I’m very happy with this rep. The blue dial is very nice, almost like the original. If I could do it again I would have bought the ss bracelet and ordered an original Santoni like I did anyway. Some commented above that a double AR is worth it but to be honest I’m not sure.

In the last photo, the hands seem a bit GREEN, is that normal. I just order one, and the QC photos seems to have green hands. Thx

Did you replace the a7750 with an ETA in the end? I am planning to do the same but just want to check it fits before i buy the watch (have a 7750 waiting to be used). If anyone else can help please let me know.

the watch is at my watch-smith to "transplant" the ETA, i haven't heard from him yet but I'll let you this week how easy it was

Very nice, let us know how you get on with it and if your watchsmish had any issues fitting the gen. It should be straight swap but you never know with reps

Open the back, press the release tab with a thin and pointy tool tip and while pressed remove the crown, squeze gently the tube with an appropriate tool e.g. precision pincers (you might want to tape the contact areas), press again the release tab and while pressed even more gently and carefully insert the crown+stem back, check if the crown can be screwed in, if not repeat and press the tube a bit more until you get it to screw in... Or send it to a watchmaker
