Hello guys

Having handled the Gen a number of times, I ordered a v2 and a gen Santoni strap (EUR 260 from a TD!). I have also ordered a 2xAR prof crystal from Steve and I believe I am set to go!

Any thoughts?

How much is the crystal? I'm currently debating the blue or the black - I hear the 2xar crystal upgrade is worth it.

The 2xAR crystal upgrade is amazing. I have done it for my JF AP 15400 and it is honestly night and day. I have to say thought that the particular IWC v2 pilot had an upgraded crystal (compared to the v1 which I also have) and it got me thnking whether the 2xAR upgrade was worth it. In the end I did it anyway as I had already the prof 2xAR crystal in my hands but it is telling that I had to think about it. I hope this helps.

Is the bold date font on the ZF 3777-14 accurate as per gen? I saw some photos online showing some having normal fonts and some with bolder fonts...is it a new and old version thingy?

I compare the ZF to the gen and the difference is so small you wouldn’t be able to notice unless you had them side by side. It’s a non issue
