My Forged Carbon Diver v2 (from Puretime)

I received my Forged Carbon Diver v2 from Angus a few days ago and just wanted to share some photos any my thoughts on it.

First of all I know the carbon pattern is NOT close to gen at all, and I would call it more SWIRLY as opposed to 'wood grain'. Personally it doesn't bother me much because I love the watch as is, but it will probably bother some of you guys who are very anal/OCD and only buy 1:1 watches. Other than the case the watch is fantastic! I haven't taken it off since I got it (even slept with it the past 2 nights by accident, thats how light and comfortable it is) The dial, bezel, strap, end links, buckle and caseback are all on point! I bought this one to hold me over until I receive my pre-ordered H-Fac version, I didn't order until June, so I know there are a lot of people ahead of me and I may not see one for awhile. Again, I am VERY happy with this watch even with the 'swirly' case.

Here are the photos. I was hesitant to post these because I know we have some rude members who do nothing but talk crap on watches and peoples thoughts on watches, so please, we all know the carbon pattern is NOT gen-like, so lets keep the negative and rude comments about this version to yourself and not pollute the forum with crap. AGAIN, this carbon case does not have the appearance that the gen does, this is due to the manufacturing process this factory used. Some may think its not worth the $ because of the case, others may think I/we are crazy for buying this version and at the end of the day I am happy with it and that is all that matters :D

So you posted pictures, and only want positive comments/opinions. Everyone else can refrain from expressing themselves. Do I have that right ? Let me give you a small bit of information on how forums have worked for over a decade. People post threads/pictures/subjects. Others chime in with their opinions. Sometimes dissenting from those of the OP. That's how it goes. If you're too fragile to accept criticism , it's best to not ask for public comments.

i get where the OP's coming from and yeah i think having 10 pages with 5 pages filled with the same comments on the graining on the side profile is annoying so yeah i get it m8

I myself am not familiar with the gen version, so it looks like a nice watch to me... although I still prefer the normal diver.

He's just stating the obvious, and doesn't want page after page of aholes to just post "carbon is off", and "h-fac will be better". I think you just look to cause trouble sometimes BMW, that's your MO, and that's what you want to be known for.

Well maybe you (BMW) should re-read the post, I didn't say anything about wanting positive comments, I simply said lets keep the negative comments to yourself about the case. I know (as well as anyone with 2 eyes) can see the pattern is no like that of the gen, and I just wanted to keep those comments down. I just dont see the need for this kind of crap, and sadly its always the same guys who are involved.

Also, I am NOT looking for 97 pages of "nice diver"
I was just sharing some photos of the new V2 diver from Puretime.

Its just nice to see photos of new watches on the block, but next time I will just keep it to myself and not share any photos.

I like when members share their photos. The TD's are going to try and take the best pics possible to sell the watch, with member photos we get the real deal.

You were very .. aggressive (for lack of a better word, not exactly what I mean) about your desire to keep that out of the thread, which is a surefire invitation to mocking, methinks.

"First of all, I KNOW" , "Bother you guys who are anal/OCD" , etc.

I'm sure if you had just said "I know the side pattern is lousy, but I love this watch - take a look at the nice pics!" you wouldn't get as much flack. Or maybe you would, in which case in your shoes I'd tell everyone to eat d-k
