I guess the $518 was the price for the limited 100 first pieces, $568 is the price for the following 2000 or so pieces made...lol

Lol, probably not far from the truth, but usually the price is the other way round:biglaugh:

Seriously $52k in 2 days sales, and you really think they are going to stop at 100 watches:whistle:

I am very happy for any one who got the new v2. With that said. She. A vendor sells a watch under the promise of it being a limits version he creates a market for it. This is not the honest way to go about it. Just not. And in my opinion as happy as I am for all the new owners of v2 ( congrats every one) this is just foul play.
You can't promise something , then sell a product based on that promise and then basically ignore ur promise.

Guys.... you are dealing with people selling fakes... now why should you rely on their promise :)

.... anyway - even so I'm happy to get one I still think its not fair - limited should be limited

fake watch..... I would never buy a fake watch based on how exclusive the fake version of said fake watch was....

I'm down for when they release the 57th st, and if it's limited, that sucks more than if it was not because I have to be ready for it.

It's more of an annoyance.

Yes, it would definitely seem unwise to assume that "limited" means anything special with the rep factories.

But I'm not 100% sure, but I do remember many people justifying the high prices of the V1 MH based on its exclusivity and a promise it was never to be produced again. I suppose my understanding was wrong (V1-100pc, V2 - 100pc?), or we were lied to.

I think I paid a fair price for the V2 as it is in line with the standard ROO pricing scheme. Toro, jacking up the price after you're the only guy left with stock? Smart for the books and I understand your justification, but bad for image I think.

I still think its a nice watch, even at that higher price.

is there any v1 people here upset?

anyway. I wonder why they did the hornback given thier lower quality than say the white rubber:

This is a big picture heavy review of the gen:

I dont think I would be upset too much myself. Like others have said, if I wanted it, I would have justified the price I paid.

Not so sure I like the white rubber though. The rep factories probably assume we just will swap the crap strap out anyway and not put too much effort into it.

It would add a bunch to the cost to get nice hornbacks on there. I'd rather be free to change it out myself to one I know is good.

I don't care about it being limited or not. In my circle of friends and associates, I'm not worrying about someone else having the same watch.

What I hated were private sellers selling this for double what they paid because it was limited, and to a lesser degree the TD that is doing the same thing before it even ships.

You and I are consumers. We hold the cash. We choose who we give it to. If I feel a dealer has lied to me, guess who isn't getting one more penny ?
