Hi gents,

i tried to capture the lume and the grain on my v6f v.2 and the gen
(links only cause of the size. maybe someone with editing skills can shrink em and put it together )

Sev217, nice pics. I just want to be sure, the v2 is the newest one that has the new movement correct? I'm trying to decide which one to purchase. I tried gettifgone around Christmas and the old ones were out of stock.

v6f v2 is out of stock. we have two factories now. vsf with new clone movement or mkf - better and with more stable eta2824 movement

the "v2,5" in my collection is the old one with the unpolished crown and the MIYOTA 8215 movement, from arround 2016-2017.

Im also very torn appart, if i should get the new MKF version or the updated VSF version.

As LaPavel have kindly shown, the MKF version in my opinion have a much better external apperance (much better bracelet/clasp and correct inner ring size)
buti do like the clone movement concept of the VSF one... but i will wait till some detailed shots of the MKF dial is available and how reliable the VSF clone movement will be

PS: Thanks to LaPavel, the SS bracelet and clasp of the VSF version is now a no go for me. once seen the flaws now burned in my brain

Thanks, I didnt realize that the last one was known as the v2. I may just roll the dice and try the MKF. I just need to get my dad to pick something out because I would rather order two at a time.

I had this problem with my old v6f. I was in the boutique where I tested the gen. it was heavier and the bracelet had a totally different look and feel. I was hoping for a better rep ... when I saw the prototype from mkf, I was happy. The flaws that bother me with v6f have been fixed at mkf. before the release, mkf will update the dial and the insert.

LaPavel hey buddy can you clarify what you mean by they’ll fix the insert and dial before the release. As far as I can see there’s no issue with those?

Also so are they likely to fix the Jewels typo on the movement?

yes, if you look at the pictures and LaPavel's pic or the pics on puretime

You can see the shape of the links is off compared to the gen. And not forget the "TM" on the clasp which is not under the 007 logo on the gen.

but like i said, lets wait till some better pictures of both replicas appear

both have their flaws (like MKS "JEWETS") ect... so lets wait

From what I can see now after scrutinizing the photos of both the VSF and MKS models, the MKS definitely looks better. Bracelet looks better, inner ring looks to be the same size as the gen too. Ring still looks too thin on the VSF. I'm bothered by the mispelled "JEWETS" on the deco of the MKS though..lol.. But if given the choice, i'd go for MKS. We don't know how reliable the clone is on the VSF. I worry the movement might break on that.

Like LaPavel mentioned, mks will upgrade a few things before release.
Im so eager to see the final version, from what i have seen yet i reallly wish they would do a hybrid version of the mks watch with a vsf movement :w00t:

It is a misunderstanding. Someone has quoted a user who was referring to a different model.

So tempted to pull the trigger on one of these but don't know which!!! As an aside, how difficult would it be to swap the clasp for a non 007 one? I'd rather have a standard "OMEGA" clasp than the 007 one, where could I get one from and how difficult would it be to swap?

he was waiting for qc pics and they got delayed because mkf is making updates
