@HK......unfortunately it's not getting better......there are a number of members here who consistently want to stir up the shit......!
Pugwash was asked to post it here......as was I......in fact I invited ANY member of RWG to post it here.......so there's no shilling being done.....nor none taken.....!
I'm disappointed to see the same members ...lonce again riding roughshod over Pugwash......despite the fact that he's a significant contributing member.....if anyone wants to have a pop at me.....well, I'm big and hairy arsed enough to deal with them......but Puggy was simply doing a good turn....and all people here wanna do is turn it against him......no wonder I didn't post it here.....if this is the kind of shit you get......I'll be surprised if he stays...I was surprised he returned......as for you Phil......please restrict your Klinkish to less serious matters.....I know you can make sense when you want to.....Klinkish doesn't help in these situations......!

sorry, i really was eating some popcorn. lol
this looks simple to me. if someone wants to save roughly 100.00 on an mbw, get on the list and send your money once you are excepted. people did it all the time with luckky and allot of people got screwed, some just waited along time and at the end he apparently just took the money and ran.
i have said this before and i will say it again. i have never bought anything from neil but it damn sure doesn't mean i won't at some point. bad shit can happen at any moment in our hobby and we all know it but the absolute last thing i could ever imagine is neil gathering up money for a hand full of reps and running away. call me crazy but somehow i just don't see that happening.
now with that said, i have to clean up my popcorn mess and clean the butter off of my keyboard. lol :lol:

Since you mentioned my name I will respond:
7.500 Baht is the price of a vintage mbw rolex when you buy a single watch or two or three.
However since I always bought 5 watches at a time I paid 7.250 baht (just a tad over 200 US$ depending on exchange rate which of course varies from day to day) for each. That is what pichai calls "wholesale discount"...
When you buy 25 pieces or more you will surely get some discount, being as smart as you are!
I do commend you for correctly quoting your transportation costs this time to and fro Bangkok.
How about a car pool with Maria? His truck is extended cab (can fit fellas with large egos...) and mighty comfy too (leather, air, dvd, navigation). He surely is still making his weekly trips into town.
Bottom line: 350US$ is a fair deal if everybody keeps up their ends!

@Leo.....yes...but any discount I achieve by ordering in bulk...provides the safety net that may be required to offset any potential problems.....and whatever discount I may or may not achieve is purely speculative and unconfirmed at this point.....suffice to say....that I won't be making multiple trips to Bangkok and will only consolidate the deal when I have the requisite funds available to negotiate any discount and or complete the transaction.....!

As I was telling a friend in a PM yesterday, the waiting times involved are why I've never bought anything from Neil. However, should I ever decide to order something, I wouldn't be surprised or fussed if it took a long time to get to me. That's par for the course and the information pointing to that being par for the course is ALL OVER this forum. You only need to bother to look.
