Now, the alleged dealer, TTK is allegedly selling alleged MBW watches, that will allegedly keep time and look good while doing so.

Therefore the alleged French guy from England is allegedly "HAWK"ing (I had to throw in a bird term) these alleged timepieces so he and the guy with too much time on his hand could allegedly dsitrbute these watches to everyone that TTK allegedly never responds to, or happily insults!!! :shock:

@WBK....what's your alleged problem.....all I can see where you're concerned is an alleged conflict of interest......you're both an alleged dealer and an alleged Mod....and whether it's 'allegedly' or not.......you shouldn't be making alleged ASSumptions or alleged ASSertions regarding another alleged dealer nor my alleged communications......everyone who is in on the buy have received all the communication they need........I presume thats allegedly OK with you Stan........?

First and foremost......Pugwash isn't a shill......I don't need a shill.....!

Secondly......I didn't organise the group buy......Pugwash was being put under pressure to get his brother to organise some MBW's for members.....then when he declined ..those members started on his ass.....so I stepped in and said if that THEY wanted to organise a group buy.....I would work out a price......I did that......here's the breakdown of costs...!

7500 baht for a vintage MBW....= $224 at today's rate....( I dunno where Leonado gets his $200.....but I bet he's not got a gold star in his jotter for arithmetic...)

1100 baht for EMS postage.....= $32.00

150 baht for packaging.........= $5.00

Travel to Bangkok....3000 baht return / 25...= $4.00

TOTAL = $265.00 ...not including minor incidentals...!

My selling price = $350.00

Profit = $85.00

So let's see....I save you $100+......and I'm expected to provide a guarantee ( which the shop doesn't....so if you buy direct from the shop ....you don't get a guarantee ).....not only that....but I'm supposed to 'insure' or 'indemnify' you against any loss.......so if you walk out of MBK and you get mugged.....you wanna walk into the shop and say hey....I got mugged....give me another free of charge......or you get stopped at US Customs.....you wanna call up the shop and demand a replacement......meanwhile I take the risk of going to jail.....not collecting $200....nor a get out of jail pass......for $85.00...whilst saving you $100...!

So....here's the options.....you can opt in or out of the group buy.....nobody's twisting your arm.....or you can pay the same price as George or WM is charging....$450.00 with shipping and I WILL GUARANTEE YOU AGAINST ANY LOSS OR DEFECT....simple.....just like sub4me.....!

BTW ...I never stated that I wouldn't replace a watch.....what I said was that I wouldn't be held liable....there's a difference.....I said that if any member 'lost' a watch...I was prepared to negotiate with them for a satisfactory solution....based on an assumed loss of 10%....that means 2x watches out of the buy......so my negotiations could be anywhere from replacement free of charge......to.....you pay the new postage ....I'll ship the watch..F.O.C.......nothing's set in stone.....!

On a final note.....I was asked if I wanted to post it here......I declined......why ? ...I hear you ask.......'cos the group buy was oversubscribed at RWG....hence no need to post here......!

BTW for the benefit of the misinformed member...( yeah ..you know who you are....so does everybody else )....... you wouldn't know an MBW if it walked up ...pissed on your leg and said .."I'm an MBW"......ALL MBW watches take genuine parts.......tubes / crowns / bezel inserts / sapphires / acrylics.....or do you want to continue denigrating the SEASONED veterans of thes boards....who DO know what they're talking about......by telling them that you DO........thanks for the laugh.......that's why they are IN DEMAND........and no......Josh nor Trusty.......nor anyone other than THAILAND based dealers or visitors....can source them........!

I have nothing to do with this Group Buy. The admins of this site (RWI) asked me to post about it so that people here wouldn't miss out.

I don't need a group buy as I already have two of the watches. You're making it very discouraging for me to be helpful. :shock:
