Just had a transaction as a buyer...left positive feedback for the seller...nothing in return. Asked politely for the same and got nothing.

Here's how I see it...as a seller, if I have good communication and prompt payment from a buyer I leave them positive feed back right away, before they even receive the watch. They completed their end of the deal.

I don't agree with holding a buyer hostage for feedback because I want to wait and see what they say about me. I know they are getting what was described and pictured.

I haven't been burned yet, but if it happens I'll deal with it.

I'm guilty of not leaving feedback. I go through watches and parts so often that it's hard to keep up. That said, if I receive a feedback I provide one back immediately. Much easier for me to remember. If I forgot to leave you one, sorry!

You can coach to feedback. I ask the buyer nicely if they would PM once the watch has arrived, and it's been thoroughly inspected.I then will kindly ask the buyer to leave me feedback if they are happy with the transaction. Both parties win.

Reply intended for a different, non watch board. Don't see a method to delete.

As a buyer, I always leave feedback for the seller. I send them a pm letting them know that I have received the watch or part and let them know that I'm going to leave them a positive feedback and ask if they would do the same for me. I always tell them that I appreciate it and that our reputation is very important on the forum. So far it has worked great for me.

So, i just made my 1 M2M sale and it took me a long time to figure out exactly how to leave feedback. Maybe if there was a large link on the sales post to a how-to or that would prompt for the user ID of the buyer and automatically populate the URL field from the sale it would make the feature less likely to be overlooked.

sorry for adding to an old thread, but it's the first thread that appears in search for m2m feedback.
as a new user, I'm looking for how to post feedback after my purchase. it's not obvious.

for sellers, I suggest you send us a note when delivery is confirmed, like amazon, and I'm happy to post feedback. or maybe 1 week later, since many are confirming their watch works too.
just a thought

now off to go figure out how to post my purchase feedback on great seller...

It would be nice if once you left feedback it wasn't visible until the other party had put feedback in as well. Or you can remove your feedback if you don't get the review.

go to the other persons profile. Find RWI Sales tab, fill out the form, have the url of sales ready to paste.

Thanks R@dman! Found a great tutorial and posted my first feedback.

If I do a sale, I'll post the links so my buyer can find it quick

on ebay, I always expect the seller to leave feedback first, because they received payment first.
when I sell, i always leave feedback for payment received first, and as a buyer, i dont leave feedback until I receive feedback.
