Don't just look at the dealer sites and compare versions. I'm not an expert on the Grand Carreras but they likely have the same exact ones anyway. Search the forum for that model, read the Tag subforum in general, check out the movements options and read about them here, and get a general sense of how it all works. The stickies at the top of forums are your friends.

Well, after a while i dicide to follow the path this forum was giving me and buy from puretime watches. The customer service is awsome, but when they send me the pictures from the watch for me to confirm that the quality was ok is when i got scared. it happend that what they are showing me is not the same replica pictures i saw in the site. i am realy worried now but i hope they do the right thing in here.

Among the diferences, here goes the main ones. For example the tip of the minute marker seems a little bit flattened. Another diference is that the bazel writings, are thicker and looks to have a worse quality. The (caliper scale reading) painting looks different too. The screw seems fake and looks like it´s jumping foward.

Please comment what you guys think.

I also see a black line marker missing near the 05 in the second pic.

These Tag are not known for quality, i suggest you go for another more proven rep. The aquaracer 500m or other brand.

Well the problem is that i already bought it. All i wanted was to get what i see in the sales photos from the website.am'i asking too much ?
I thought this guys were trustworthy.
I just got an email from them right now telling me it is the same watch, but from different angles, well I felt like being called stupid when a read it. I listed 4 or 5 diferences here but i can see a lot of them. It´s clear like water they are not the same.
The watch what they want to send me has a lower quality without a doubt.
I think that when they are selling something like a replica, and the photos you see at the sales website are different from what you are buying this is a big, big problem.

Thats what QC pics are for. Thats why you research the model ahead of time before ordering. If you're going to scan QC pics with a loupe , you shouldn't be ordering that model watch. Frankly , you are being unrealistic as to what you are dealing with here. Ask for a refund and be on your way if you dont like what you are seeing.

If the model upgrades, or change, dont you think they should upgrade the photos they are using to sell a 400 dollars replica ?
And they are telling me its the same, not that it has been upgraded.

You have 12 posts on this forum. I question the amount of research you have done on this model. You are not picking a replica watch that isn't too accurate to begin with. Frankly , I'm looking at the QC pocs and wondering what your problem is. There is nothing in those pics worthy of a rejection. Pure time has pages and pages of watches on their site. You think they go update every single one ? I never look at a website when ordering a watch. I know what to expect , and place an order. Stop wasting PT's time. Ask for a refund and move on.

Maybe because you're buying an ILLEGAL COUNTERFEIT product at a fraction of the cost of a genuine, made in China where the illegality and even culture prevents a Swiss level of quality control.

Two ways to deal with this:
- hold off buying a rep first, spend some solid amount of time on this board reading up on reps and the rep game, ask questions if you can't find the answer, do some more reading. After you've gotten a grasp of what's involved and what you're in for, go ahead and buy buy buy
- if none of that's for you, log out, and start saving up for a gen

Refund at Puretime

It looks like i will get refund, and i wold like to mention that The customer service by Marie B is fantastic.
I recomend this seller so far, but my lesson here is, never buy before you see some Quality Control pictures first. The pictures from the replicas on the website dont correspond to the stock models.
