I finally tried luming, my first attempt was a fail. I mixed resin with hardener and it dried up in no time. So I tried it without the hardener giving me time to apply the lume.

Here are the results

I still haven’t learned how to properly paint dials yet. A lot of videos where just spray painting the dial. Not sure if that is the way to go or air gun painting, for more layers and details.

I have lots of blanks to practice on though.

I can’t find any detailed videos or tutorials on dial painting either. I have searched like crazy!!! I wish some of the skilled people on this forum would post one!

Homage forum has some good stuff spray paint cans are good Black and white dials. For color fades and more detail buy a set up to spray paint.

I have tried to register there using multiple email addresses on multiple browsers and I cannot get a confirmation email. I have emailed the help desk probably four times asking for help and never get a reply. I want to learn how to build watches and know that site has some great info. I wish I could get access to it. From what I have read, I’m not the only one who seems to have that problem...

Yes there is problem about new registrations, seems only the admin can fix it but he is not seen in a while..
