Found out the 177L from HBBv1 maker really is the low beat 18000vph movement

I can understand that it seems odd for production of the 177L to be abandoned, given overhead costs etc. But presumably there's no reason for Lay to give incorrect information either. Polaris - since you ordered without problems, does that mean that Lay still has stock of the 177L?

They really wouldn't lose out buy making limited runs of certain model #s, because the only difference in a LOT of models is the dial. So, the CG, hands, movement, straps can all be used for the next model they decide to rep (which they just have to throw a different dial in.
Just my .02

Plus, the exclusivity makes it more likely that a whole run would sell out.

The 177 should be available in the form of the more accurate 177M within the next 3 weeks.
