Thank you all for the kind words :)

Well, atm my next purchase is likely to be a Daytona mid range not sure model wise but narrowed it down to 11650 9, 6 or 0 ;)

Also looking at feasibility of fitting the TAG F1 with a Swiss Ronda 5040.D Chrono, 6 hand date @4 movement, but would need to find the correct White number Black background date wheel, that is the ori movemet TAG fitted to their Gen of my watch.

If anyone has any info about the mod or where to source the correct Datewheel PM me plz or reply here, I'm all ears and still looking on the forum but drawn a blank so far.

Gotta go pick Mel up, TTFN (y)

My collection is improving by the day, Postman Pat arrived today, and for a flea of the bay special I am well impressed with the box set I got for my Tag F1, I'm well impressed (y)

I have decided to buy boxes for all my watches, will have to sort out a display shelf or cabinet soon
There is a new style box on it's way for my Black Sub (first TD purchase this time around) that is gonna arrive soon.

I will do this with all as I buy new Watches and I suppose the next logical step for my OCD will be to collect Tags and Paperwork :ROFLMAO:

Well actually I do believe my anal nature is actuallyOC T alent ............... Ho Ho Ho said the Jolly ole Bear who is having mucho fun atm ........

I wish I had found this Forum sooner it's teaching me as I go along my latest journey, this is gonna be a super fun retirement hobby, a lot easier than hauling out Engines and Transmissions and building 'em, the arthritis will put all that to bed in a few years from now ;)

I have also bought a bunch of Watchmaker Tools too, knowing myself, when a bug bites, there will probably be a case lathe arriving by this time next year o_O

I'm already thinking about buying a cheapie or 2 more reps to fiddle with, I have replaced watch hands, stems and crowns, bracelets etc when I was in my 40's, never done a movement upgrade, or service, so my re-incarnation into this needs to go to another level me-thinks :devilish:

Chow for now D

Looking good Dave, keep them coming :)
What exactly did you bought watchsmith tools? I have everything necessary to remove bracelets and adjust them including a Timegrapher etc but nothing to open the case (yet)

@flashu

Case openers (several), hand removers and replacers, a puffer, couple of sets of teensy screwdrivers, bracelet pin presser, lug spring pin pick set, case holder, movement holder and a bunch of other stuff I forgot or don't exactly know what they are for right now :ROFLMAO:

What I did was to buy a mid priced EBay set with loads of tools in it, then bought a set of rollie case openers, a very good 3 jaw universal case opener, and a really decent set of the wee screwdrivers, as I know from my automotive electronics / ECU tools that the el cheapo teeny screwdrivers don't last 2 minutes and often mess the wee screws up (y)

I already have a really nice Macro Head set in my workshop which I use a lot when soldering tiny SMD components onto Car Module PCB's etc.

A decent timegrapher will be my next purchase when I really get into it

Also the new Headlamp and Headlamp Module for our beloved AMG E Class Estate arrived, 2 days early, so I got the car in this afternoon and fitted and programmed it, that's that sorted, just gotta put the wheel arch liner and forward section of undershield then front wheel back on and a nuvver job is jobbed :)

That'll only take 20 mins or less, I'll finish it in a minute, after coffee ☕

LOL, now I gotta wash and maybe polish the other Headlamp, it didnae look bad before :ROFLMAO:

Today's update ....

Another teeny screwdriver set arrived.

When I first joined RWI i had just bought a Ladies Datejust, but not from a TD on here it was from a seller found on google as I bought before joining.
After reading some of the stories I was halfways thinking I could write off the money, but I wasn't going to pester 'em for a while yet ;)
I put pics below, honestly can't remember which one but I think it was the MOP Dial version, (senior moment) :ROFLMAO:

Today, Royal Mail Tracking now shows they have got the watch and it should be here tomorrow, so assuming it arrives in the next few days, doesn't have a steaming pile of cat shit in the box instead of a watch, and is as I expect for a cheapie, I won't be grizzling.

If she avoids wearing this one everyday, digging plants, washing up etc, i.e. doesn't wreck it like the last Pearlmaster, then I might buy her a better grade PM for her B/Day, ATM my little angels watches are considered as consumables to me :ROFLMAO:

The E Class Wagon is now back in daily use again, gave it a full vehicle check as we are off on road trip to south England in 2 weeks time, all was good, so just need a level check and tyre pressures on the night of leaving (y)

I also used the wee tool set, used the bracelet pin press and took a link outta the cheapie Noobmariner, since I am now wearing that as a daily beater.
I do have a better quality Bracelet arriving for it, but that might be next week etc etc yak yak yak ;)

Pixels .........

I think that smee all up to date, back soon !!

The senior moment from yesterday in my post above /\ /\ /\ was wrong.

It was the white face logo'd dial that I had purchased for Mel's Christmas sack, and as per the Tracking it arrived first post (y)

I am an extremely happy bunny, especially considering I paid £154.78 including Postage, and the tiny 26mm Datejust is a proper nice piece for the price. Feel free to pick it to bits, I'm all ears, but jeez, I cannot fault the sellers or (so far) the watch at all, it is what it is, it ain't wot it ain't.

Personally I doubt anyone could tell the difference when it's on her wrist, or even perhaps without taking the back off it.

First rep I've bought "this time around" (3 so far) that I haven't felt the need to order a new better quality more accurate rep Bracelet either, the bracelet is way better than some, certainly not a "tinny" cheapo feel to it :)
After a wind charge, and setting the wee beastie, the Movement seems to be running sweet (a Timeographer is gonna be my next purchase) likely today before close of play :ROFLMAO:

Enough of my waffle, I'll let the pixels do the "vocals" but please feel free to pick it to bits if you more knowlegeable fellas / fellaesses think it's a bummer, I promise I wont grizzle and go all snowflake on ya's !! :ROFLMAO:

Cheers for now peeps time 4 >>> :coffee:

Just added a Weishi 1900 Timegrapher to my collection of wristwatch tools, £159 and 18 pennies.

Not much else to report, very busy work wise, not taking any more bookings now until second week in January, hopefully will get 2-3 weeks off over the holiday period, we are away for the week before Christmas visiting F & F, arriving back on 23rd.

@flashu, I'll need an explanation, as I'm extremely new to actually working on them. Is there a linky where that would be explained (lift angle), is that a setting on the Weishi please ?

I've actually got a very old rep here to play with and learn so it doesn't matter if I mess it up :ROFLMAO:

Here a tutorial for weishi (1000) , yours has a little more settings but basics are exactly the same

It is quite self explanatory not need for further actions :D

Bracelet now fitted to the Noobmariner, it has IMHO improved the whole feel and aesthetics of the watch (y)

BTW, so I am making it clear, the bracelet that came at the same time as the Sub was a free gift, the watch was sold as a Head to me for £59 including P+P, and I am over the moon with the TD and his products, will def buy more in the new year, atm I have now overspent my budget a little, but got a lot of kit and watches for the fairly meagre sum :)

I have also moved up a grade and bought a really nice Breitling BO1 Navitimer from a really patient UK seller in M2M ..............

The pixels :-

Will report back once the Breitling arrives (y)

So the Breitling Navitimer B01 arrived today, definitely next tier and I adore it already. It's keeping good time and looks amazing, very happy bunny.

Now, i didn't mention it yesterday as I was a bit in disgrace 'cos being an impulsive dumb cunt noobie I broke a rule, but after today's hilarity and since it is a part of my new collection, I'll mention it .............

You see today this very Daytona wot I bagged when I shouldnae has started the funniest Replica General Discussion thread I have ever read anywhere :ROFLMAO:,

TBF, the Watch did arrive and it's actually a pretty good rep in a fuck sight better condition than I was expecting after all the collective comments in the several sales threads that had ensued :ROFLMAO:

Since yesterday lunchtime it is keeping good time and all working flawlessly :)

The only noticeable issue is it has the wrong Chrono (big) second hand, but that may have been done to reduce the inertia created when resetting the Chrono ...........

Well that's my theory / excuse and I'll stick to it before someone comes along and points out I'm talking bollocks ;)

I think an un mullered A7750 fully working chrono Daytona for £140 was a result ............

Since I'm taking a 3 week holiday over Christmas and New Year I have promised meself I will not buy any more Watches until after end of January, cos being Self Employed, I dinnae get paid 'olidays

LOL, we'll have to see how long I can go cold turkey :ROFLMAO:

Pun in there 😛

Had an enjoyable trip south and visited all the family and some friends who live in various England locations .......
London, Essex, Kent and West Country. Much grub and beer consumed.

When we got back, my Timegrapher had arrived, and as we were out Christmas eve day and eve, and Christmas day, was, well Christmas day, mel had to go work today, so it seemed rude not to try out my new Gizmo Timegrapher ;)

What better watch to use than the el cheapest cheapo in my collection, the really cheap "kit form" Rolex Black Submariner ............

Not bad at all, it's been on there about 15 minutes now and is averaging circa +3s per day, although I don't know what movement is in it so not absolutely sure that the lift angle figure is correct, but yes the WeiShi 1900 seems to be all working tickety boo (y)

Having been wearing all the watches whilst we were away and up to today, I just know for a fact that my Rolex Daytona and the Breitling B01 Navitimer will give even better numbers :)

Hope y'all having a good time !!

I'm off in now to eat and drink more, family arriving early hours and staying a week ;)
