Some progress, some setbacks and some parts still to arrive...

Gen no dot crown has been fitted, although it requires a 24-7000 tube to flush to the case. One is en route.

Managed to find a date correct gen Rolex 7835 with 271 end links, as per the Eric Clapton watch.

Unfortunately the bezel seems to have cracked while installing the crystal, so have found a mark 1 replacement.

Hoping to get this all finished as soon as possible.

What type of screws on the movement do you guys use for attach it to the case?

Have been searching for a set for decades. Can't seem to find any that fits? I have a roamer 726v movement.
