I have like 6 F1's but only 1 I've had since new. Got it as an 8th grade graduation gift after tons of bargaining on my part. Expensive watch for an 8th grader!

If anyone knows a better way to keep that tension spring in place I am open to suggestion. It lifted the insert after I took the bezel off to brass it.

it seems like its out of alignment if its pushing the insert up take off the insert and make sure the wire is tucked into the grove .

All fixed now. The wire is the problem. I had to take it out and bend it so it will sit and tuck in properly. I do not like working with these wire springs.

All fixed now after a good fight with the retaining wire.
