My humble entry into vintage watches. I present/introduce to you, my "HMT Chinar" 17jewels manual wind watch with period correct domed plexiglass crystal. All genuine watch made humbly in India. Per, what I got to know from the person I got it from, this watch was made in the 80s. Though 35mm in diameter, the watch wears large on the wrist. The watch tips its foot at 10mm in height making it slim too. The dial holds an awesome natural patina.

I love the chinar tree leaf symbol on the watch dial @6. It kinda resembles the cannabis leaf symbol (or is it really the cannabis symbol? [emoji55] ). To me, that somehow is like watch dope [emoji4] [emoji14].

- bezel assembly from eBay

- raffles GMT hand

I got my parts from "worldtraveler33". But I think there are other eBay accounts selling the same parts. They are located in the us
