Did a little work on the 1655 this weekend. Slightly aged the case and bracelet. New Clark crystal. Early thick font bezel and aged the lume a bit. Not sure if I'm feeling it. it's not quite the desired look I'm after. Going for a light creamy lume look

I had the crystal and bezel ahead of time and when I swapped them over I stained the lume on the dial and hands. Then I gave the bracelet and case a light once over with a scrub pad to loose some of the newness...and voila!!
I have a mk4 bezel on the way to swap out this mk1 bezel....this bezel is correct for the early straight hand 70-72 exp ii but since my dial and hands and case are later I am going to swap to the later bezel and this bezel will be up for sale if anyone is interested.
Now the icing on the cake for my 1016. My case back stickers arrived today. I was gung ho about putting it on my watch when they were in transit. But now that it's here. I'm hesitating because I don't want to wear it out as I am constantly wearing this watch. Ugh. FWP.
