I am not as well read in the early 60's as I am in the mid 60's.
Somewhat cloudy...you see both with chapter ring pcg but my guess is that some we see had the GMT hand replaced. Could have been replaced 50 years ago at service...
If you look at a lot of pics from that early 1675 era, the "original" looking watches generally have the small hand. If I was building one with any variation of gilt dial, I would go small hand. If I was looking to buy a gen I would do the same.
I purchased the small GMT hand from Raffles Time and have it on hand now. I am still working on the dial, I am leaning towards chapter ring with exclamation point but w/o would be fine too, very light to no aging.

I'd love to see a thread on this build, with lots of pics of course. Cant wait to see it!

It's been awhile since I posted anything on here, would like to thank the people who actually contacted me - I'm a little busy with RL atm, nothing serious, just work piling up which is nothing less than great for me :)

The past three weeks has been a great ride - had to reprioritize a lot of the stuff in my life. But I'm still pretty happy and comfortable :)

Would like to share a little strap maker which I got a strap from :

This was made by Landcruzer94

IMO I'm not a very very big fan of exotic skins, but this particular hide which he managed to get got my attention. Anyone who knows me knows that I love anything unique, special and I pay very close attention to details. This strap took close to 6 weeks to make but I received it yesterday and IMO this is an extremely well made strap. I can say this with confidence as I have owned many straps from many makers. The leather is extremely soft and pliable. IMO, it ranks better than what I got from wotancraft and distefano - both of which IMO are noted for their leather strap making. I understand that he has a pretty low production volume but do give him a try, you will not be disappointed.
