I think lady gaga is a fine person, but probably not the right image to represent Tudor. Lets face it, watches appeal to men with disposable income. They should get someone with credibility like Connor McGregor or Messi to wear the watches.

Connor McGregor? Seriously? Credibility?
Nothing he said about the Mayweather fight gave him credibility. He appeared loud mouthed, cocky and arrogant...

Messi on the other hand wouldn't be seen dead in a Tudor...he has far more class than that. :lmao:

I don't think that they should do a cheap moves with celebrity endorsement just because they are cheaper than Rolex.
Like gavmeister said, i think people like Connery and Messi have to much style and class for a Tudor. That combined with the "cheaper" price makes it imo a logic move to find younger people to sell their watches to.
People who like dressstyles of Messi and Connery are more likely (imo) to buy AP, PP, breguet etc etc...

Sidenote,... i own the LHD Pelagos (rep) and i'm just lovin' it :D :D :D

Personally I don't really care about celebrity or sports figure endorsements.

Who's doing anything worthwhile nowadays? No one's really going to space anymore.

I like the way Omega uses Bond franchise.

Conor only wears FG and Plat Rolex and an occasional AP/Patek

Yeah... Same thing here. She is also very high fashion to represent a brand that is so tool watch oriented.

True but for a long time people have been saying Rolex have trapped themselves into tried and tested models which cannot be altered too much without risking sales. Whereas they can exploit Tudor as a more fun and experimental brand.

They must be targeting their female buyers.

I would say Franck Muller might be a bit more appropriate. Some slightly avand-garde pieces.

I showed my wife the pic with Lady Gaga and all she said was “nice watch, but the hour hand is so damn ugly” [emoji23]

Honestly I agree with her. Much more of a fan of the sword hands. That particular handset is the only thing keeping me from buying a handful of tudors that would be otherwise very elegant looking. Maybe its meant to look robust but to me it just looks unrefined.

im a little disapointed... I would of put a sportier woman as a spokesperson. Appealing to women is fine but she is way to fancy for a tool watch company.

Why not? if I ran Rolex, I know who the spokes person would be....Sean Connery...
James Bond is the Obviois choice...
Also otherwise capable imho...
Matthew McConehey (correct spelling?)
Michael Kane
Morgan Freeman
Anthony Hopkins
Christian Bale
And of course for a funny take...
Jeremy Clarkson
