Did anyone ever find out what movement this is based on? As with the 372 sc im reluctant to spend money on something that may not be fixable if it ever were to break.

99% sure it‘s 7750 without rotor

This thread made me order one of these. Radiomirs are my preferred PAMs, and this looks mighty fine.

Ryans website states it's a faux plate-decorated rotor-less a7750 but somewhere else I read it was an unknown customized movement. I just don't want it to crap out some day with 0 spare parts availability

How much do you pay for fixing watches? This watch is USD 200. Doesn't it cost roughly the same amount to service/repair a watch?

Therefore does it matter if it breaks. You just buy another one.

Looks like an A7750 with the winding bridge and rotor removed to me. Look closely, they're identical. Which begs the question, what's the longevity of an A7750 being used solely as a hand-wound?

I'm no movent expert, but all I can say is it does not feel like an a7750 at all.
The winding and date change are "crispier" and, tbh, feel like great quality and solidity.
I agree if it breaks it might be problematic to fix it, hopefully someone will identify this movement sooner or later.

I agree on the movement.. it seems very solid and precise when changing date an winding the movement.

Forgive the bad phone pic, but I just received mine that I bought in the sale, quite a few days earlier than expected and I couldn't be happier with it!
All I can say is WOW. What a watch.
Thank you Ryan for the excellent service, and ALE as always for the great advice!
Now excuse while I go and stare at my first PAM... :woo:
