Can someone enlighten me Kuvarist site has a version 3 with a modified A7750 to look more like gen.
Great review by the way.
Yes there is a KW V3 version. Not included yet in PAM GUIDE

Ale any thoughts on the version 3? It seems that the V1 and V3 both contain the A-7750.V2 is the seagull and $100 diference in price from the seagull to the A-7750 wonder if its worth it.
There are pro's and con's with both movements. The 2555 is known to be a reliable movement and looks close to gen IMO. If it does break though, sourcing parts is not easy. The A7750's are a $100 more, look good but the balance wheel is an easy tell. On the other hand they are easy to service since the parts are everywhere. That said, you can get a parnis Pam homage with an ST2555 for a $100 if you need to swap a movement or use it for spares.Leaving aside movement all is the same
New movement KP9000-V2 fitting KW 312 V3 is very accurate but balance wheel remains @11 instead of @7
Read PAM GUIDE for PAM 382 you can see there the comparison pics of the new movement
Seagull is more sure and reliable and cheaper but layout is inverted
Up to you

Great write-up and beautiful choice. I recently acquired a ZF Pam 312 and it hasn't left my wrist since!
I am not sure I follow you. The beige/cream, which panerai calls acrue (spelling?) was introduced on the O series on of the 312 as an update to the original white print. Other changes on the O series include a brushed case back ad opposed to polished steel on the older versions of the 312. In short, the KW 312O is dead on and probably the most accurate "on the wrist" pams to date.Could you please post few pics from that ZF-version. I used to have KW model, but I could not stand the brownish text in dial. It is a instant tell, but that wasn't bothering me, I was bothered by how it made dial look somehow "dirty". That's a matter of taste of course. Now I'm planning to acquire 312 from ZF and would love to see how it looks in a flesh.
