I asked yep, he said it comes with 2813, 2836 and 3135 clone. Itto, yours even seems to have decent SEL fitting! I've got some gen spec springbars, do you think they would fit?

I assume they could fit - but BP and gen spec is a bit hit or miss i guess

I got it with low beat to check out the overall quality. I must say, I'm totally happy with it.

So is the lowbeat basically the same case/bezel/bracelet etc as the high beat version?

The hands are not interchangeable but won't look any different, and the tube and crown would be set slightly lower due to stem height on the DG2813. The rest should be identical parts except for the movement.

I think I’ll get myself a nice Kermit. Seems like BP are the go-to for older references. I really like my BP Sea Dweller. I have way too many watches already though.

Only the 3135 models will possibly accept gen parts other than the crystal, dial, or the datewheel. Gen spec crystals "usually" will fit Rolex reps regardless of movement, with some exceptions. A gen dial will need the feet cut off and new ones glued on or dial dots used. A gen DW can be fitted to a 2836 with some modding. The 3135 model "should" take gen hands, dial, DW, tube and crown, etc. without modding. IDK if anyone has tried gen parts on either movement model yet.

As requested, more pics of the BP Kermit. This one came with a good bracelet and plenty of links (12 1/2) Surprise! The extension link quick release setup is per gen on the 93250, and works easily and flawlessly. I almost always remove the extension link, no need on this one, it helps make the bracelet heavier and less rattly. I probably would have preferred no rehaut engraving but this one is nicely done and centered so I won't be removing it. SELs are recessed slightly, enough to check the block.

Some TDs are more willing to source parts than others, mine will do it but I always do that in conjunction with a watch purchase. However, even though he has tried about three times, BP has never come through with my parts. I know it isn't him because other factories have delivered parts to him for me. I have heard the same from other TDs, that BP doesn't deliver and doesn't keep their word on parts, so they don't want to bother anymore. YMMV
