KJ2020 mate, does BP still manufacture them? looking for a 16618LB
can you say anything about the bracelet, are the links hollow or is it a relatively heavy bracelet?

If TSWATCH lists it, they're available unless it says out of stock. My 16613LB has hollow links, same as the gen did. I can't say about the FG

thanks for the info KJ2020
didn’t know that TS is keeping inventory up to date.
is there a reason why you went with the 16613lb over eg a 16618lb? I guess personal preference, but maybe I’m missing sth on the yellow gold ones..

ah and one more thing.. they are listed with 3 different movements. the swiss 2836, asian 2836 or 2813..

KJ2020 is the swiss one worth the price difference? would think it's old stock etas anyway, and reliability decreases with decoration anyway..

I eased into rep "gold" with TT's to see how they held up. So far OK. I've gotten several FG's since, also BP. I like their shade of gold. Never had one next to a gen so I can't comment on closeness but I have had other factory's gold and I like BP's color so those are the ones I keep.

Safe bet the BP 16618 will have hollow links. Rep factories always take the easy way out when they can. TSWATCH has the best inventory updating that I know of. Too bad they lost TD status, but just send a link to a TD.

there is something about gold and blue that looks marvellous, even the 6 digit ones look cool imo!

I did some research, just to compare. a gen 16618 LB comes in at around 185 grams (depending on the amount of links oc). referring to your weight pic of the 16613 LB (assuming that the 16618 has hollow links and similar weight), it would definitely lack the heftiness of a gen. meaning, you would really feel that difference

I used leftover film from cell phone install. The film I found for my last phone install is the best I've ever used and I got enough to do phone front and back but only used the front sheets so there was plenty left over. The name really does fit, lol. I cit the squares out myself.

You can also buy ready made kits for this mod. IDK how good they are. I've done all of my FG and TTs with this mod, I can't tolerate scratches.

Yes the BP 116613LB is mine. The dial isn't the best. I have an aftermarket one to install, just haven't gotten to it yet.

I never let that stop me from getting a rep I want. Nobody else handles my watches.

This watch should be about 215gms. The rep is 155gms. I still love it.

Weast!
Has anyone opened up the BP 16613 SA3135 version and measured the dial diameter? I'm wondering if it's gen spec (27.2 mm).

I've seen a lot of builds that use a BP dial for a 5-digit sub build and was wondering the feasibility with the 16613LN (black/gold) dial.

The BP 16610LV 3135 dial is 27.9mm. I think it's safe to assume the 16613LN dial would be the same size. If you are wanting to use a gen dial (actually 27.3mm) then the rehaut aperture of your case would be the determining measurement. IDK what that is on a BP 3135 case, I'm using this 3135 dial in an ETA 2836 case.

Ahh thanks KJ2020 this is very helpful! I planned on using a BP 3135 16613LN dial in a Startime case. Will compare the rehaut aperture when the ST case comes in.

Pretty sure the ST 16610 case is gen-spec bro (well except the lugs). Member lawlessflyer put a gen dial in one. So the issue with putting a BP dial in may be one of cutting off too much of the minute tic marks from view. It will be useful to know, please post back.
