You want to know a statistic I find astounding is that dave123 with over 1k posts... over 10% of posts from dave123 contain josh in them.... HMM what does that say?!?!

Averages out at least one post a week with Josh in it.. and this is not dave's home forum..

all combines, the cursing, the bragging, the belittling.. well, heck, it is

My respect for the Admin team at RWI has just soared through the roof upon hearing the news that Andrew has been booted.

I had a prior experience with Andrew that was horrific. It was one of the worst experiences that I've ever had with an online transaction. Ever since then, I knew Andrew was sleazy despite all the praise that was previously lavished upon him.

Having Andrew "the sleazy watch guy" banned shows that the team here at RWI takes the safety of their members seriously. Because of this, I plan to make RWI my new home and will look into donating to this amazing forum.

Again, thank you, and keep up the good work.

No scotsman has never been known not to add his two pence worth so here goes,
I've only been in to collecting reps for 6months and 6 out of 10 of them have been from josh I cant complain with his service,
but twice I recieved faulty goods, they got sorted eventually but raised my suspicion that he was
dropshipping and I was also getting fed up with every new rep they brought out being so exspensive the last straw was $400 for a u boat rep that wasnt even accurate and notice how every new rep is "copied with genuine watch as sample" think they are ripping the pish out of us
so i tried Angus, Hont and Ruby for my last reps and they showed what real customer care is all about blew the twins out of the water.
So I would just like to commend the Admin for there decision, might not affect the twins business but they might end up doing that themselves anyway
with how they are behaving.
and just a wee message to jandrew may your next shite be a hedgehog!!

I am in Japan now and just logged on to discover this 11 page post, which I find unfortunate and sad. I have always said that Andrew and Josh are just a couple of merchants in China trying to make headway in a busines fraught with pitfalls and small minds. Even the quote that LOS posted about Andrew having 80 grand in inventory shows the scale of their operations. These guys are no cartel by any stretch of the imagination. They are simply a couple of watch sellers trying to feed their families. We can bitch about Chinese business ethics all day and it will change nothing. They have a system and way of business and life differnt from ours. They are literally crawling over each other to make it to the top of the heap, and in this kind of business that violates international copyrights like mad, one has to accept a bit of dodgy behavior.

In the end, all I can say is both of these guys have done well by me, and I am sorry to see this happen, as well as hope it gets resolved soon.

As for the minimal posters jumping in on this thread.......

i find it strange that you think in a country where the average worker makes about 25.00 a week you think 80,000.00 just in inventory alone is nothing but a small business man. i guess i don't understand your math. if you have enough juice to have that much money tied up in inventory alone you are a major player, not some 3rd street punk hocking your wears on the street corner.

on a totally separate note and way off topic. i hope your travels are going well and i think it is very cool that you have taken the time to check in from japan!! take a picture of a nissan skyline and post it for us if you see one!! we can't have them in the usa.

I personally support the actions of the Admins.

I think the issue here is that this is a Watch forum which has a list of recommended dealers. If the forum admins deem that some of the dealers are not worthy of being recommended due to the actions that have come to light, then why should they be recommended ?

I don't think this limits people's choice at all. We can all still buy from Josh and Andrew and they are still recommended by other forums. Everyone can still make their own decisions, its just that RWI does not recommend thesee particular sellers, just like they do not recommend many other eBay, CQout and iOffer dealers that people have had good experiences with.

Yes, it may be futile in some respects, but from the perspective of "doing the right thing" given the events, I think it is the correct action.

Also, I don't think my view above is any less valid just because I don't have as many posts as Hambone. I am still an adult with many years of commercial experience and actually deal with China on a daily basis for my work and understand how they work.

The wage of?the average worker in China is indeed a pittance, however my point is that having been in business on an international scale for many years, a comapanies gross value in inventory of 80k, is also, a pittance. It is miniscule for an international watch dealer, and to label these fellows a "cartel" is extreme, and an over statement .

BTW, Raguse, If I dont agree with my position, then I am certainly not going to state so.

Anyway, thank you HK for goodwill. I did not expect to see this turn of events and it catches me by surprise. I have some great photos to post on my return.

alot of low post counts chiming in. Where have they been? They come out of the woodwork after lurking only to coplain and criticize. Were trying to make this a better place for all. Not just the 1% of us that provide 99% of the posts for you to read, enjoy and learn. I think that was a rant last month.

I posted a complementary and supportive note and in minutes I'm being told to F Off!

Mods say they took care of it.

First off watchbuff is 100% Correct 8) , second my comment wasn't really directed at you marco but more of a statement to another thread, although I did use you as example because when a hot topic comes up all the noobs show up just to post some dumb a s s s h i t, mostly about nothing.

Listen you don't like me oh well F off and don't read my posts. LMAO :D

BTW, don't take everything so seriously or next time send a PM (which I probably won't read) instead of crying boo hoo to the form mods, they have more important s h i t to do then worry about what I'm posting and don't worry they all know me and are familiar with my mother f u c k i n g mouth. 8)
