Yep, the all-old Reverso is a stunner, but at about $45K, it's also expensive. And a rep with a plated mesh will not work, for obvious reasons.

If the consensus is that this new factory is bad for some reason, Does that mean MGF is still the best available for Reverso reps?

Hard to say best objectively. In my opinion the MGF duoface is just way too thick. This new release. while far from perfect, is at least a bit thinner. Really don't see why they can't just make a properly thin medium sized one by chucking a quartz movement (or two for the duoface) inside - they are SO close with this release with some really fixable flaws.

This release didnt bother me from the criticisms I saw, I feel like maybe cause im so used to Reps that arent Rolex my standards are alot lower, Im used to reps getting produced at a lower quality level and never getting improved on unfortunately. I'll never expect VSF Sub quality being done to a Reverso so to me the extra mm or two doesnt really bother me that much, the case sliding around would be annoying though.
