To everybody who have bought a JLC MC Diver Rep. I'm considering doing the same, but have one question. Does the Compression lock (locking the crown) actually lock the crown firm ie. do you have to turn it to "red" in order to rewind or adjust time?

Very good question, as that visible notch discourages me from using most of my aftermarket straps on the NSD. Does anyone know if this is still a feature of the latest version?

The horns are simply the lugs. The notch is in the side of the case between the lugs. When the rubber coated bracelet is installed, the end links cover the notch and you can't see it. However when using the majority of aftermarket straps, the side of the case, and therefore the notch, is visible. You have to know what you are looking for, but it is there...

Just came in. I don't like the rubber bracelet, so I replaced it with a leather strap I found in my strap box.

I love the leather strap on it! While absolutely being a fan of the rubberized bracelet, I've been wondering what to do in order to make it a little more universal, respectively compatible with other outfits. Thanks mate, that was great visual food for thought!

This is a glossy strap and it goes perfectly well with the watch since it somehow makes it look more elegant.

I have a black suede strap incoming, too. This will make the watch look more sportive but still elegant enough to fit business outfits.

I'll post pics once I have it.

The Master Compressor Navy Seals alarm version is a different model... you can identify that one by the dual crowns and alarm ring on the dial:
