I think the watch that started this thread the pre-Daytona 6238 is probably one of the most authentic looking
There are issues with these in particular the subdials the size and positioning of which is not quite right. Crowns, pushers, cases, case thickness, non-moving subdial hands etc etc
Some of these pop up with fair regularity on the M2M salesboard with multiple gen parts, reworked cases, etc. Expect to pay several thousand dollars though.
I have thought about picking one up but I am considering picking up a gen Zentih El Primero Revival so to spend such an amount of $$ for what still is a rep is not my priority right now.
These JKFs are fun watches that offer a lot for the money, an old Rolex vibe for not a lot of $$.
Nobody is gong to mistake them for the real thing though that retails for $50k+ for a normal dial and $300k to $1,000,000 for a Paul Newman dial.
