JF Daytona 21J

I'm in love with the height of the reahut, and with all watch. I don't like bezel and pusher buttons. CG's needs to be shaved a little bit, but imho it's better than JF 23J, specially for SEL.

many things... There is a thread about the flaws of the noob Daytona with asian eta clone. my biggest grief is the bezel and even lugs.

Problem with the 21/23J is the weak winding movement. Its an instant "call out" if you had to hand over the watch for inspection. This along with the non working chrono and non working 3 / 9 dials.

Despite thickness I would go for the working chrono any day pf the week.

I would say most people will be going with the 23j. not just the thickness of the movement but 7750 with sec at 6 is definitely a time bomb despite improvements.

IMO the 23J models are still the best compromise around. Love my Platona !

For sure JF since the bezel tachy is way closer to gen than the noob and the dials are too. Definitely get the BP A7750 Bracelet for the SELs and consider shaving the CGs -- With the Noob you don't have to shave the CGs though.

I've seen his pieces go between 500€ to 750€ depending on the level of mods / parts sometimes gen parts. I figure the mods listed here prices it around the 750€ range. I got it M2M so I'm not sure but this is how I would break down the parts.

Gen crystal $250
JF watch $300
Noob dial $100
Service and waterproofing $150
Total $800

Thanks, nice and clear suggestion; what about the A2824 movement? I think it is betetr than 23J, but as you told for the exterior details, not worth it.

I actually don't know much about the A2824 movement but I'm sure you can find something about it with the search function

I've read that not all the JF come with the wrong SEL, watch here for example: what do you think? Maybe JF changed bracelet in the latter pieces?
