so many pictures of the watch but none of its lume. so here goes!

while its not bright like my TC Sub, SD, etc. but its decent for a OOB rep. not a fan of blue lume/chromalight or whatever its called. i might send it in for a relume but on the fence on it.

[MENTION=8884]m5smg2[/MENTION], yeap. its nothing really to shout about. but i've gone thru the phrase where lume on reps were almost non-existent. so this is still better. amongst the watches i have, most are superlumed. a handful dont have any lume, due to the nature of the watch. only 1 has crappy post 2010 style lume :lol:

so this is kind of a inbetween superlume and lume but leaning near to the superlume side.

In the photographs, there is something 'off' about that white dial that I do not like.

To my eye, the white dial looks much more 'artificial', like garlic breath, exhales 'fake'.

Though not perfect, the black dial is less revealing of a 'rep'.

However, in a 'gen', I would prefer the white dial.

My feeling to the wrist with this Watch is to have a genuine at 95%..

I have been following this thread with great interest as I am new to these Daytonas. Thank you [MENTION=46945]shotgun[/MENTION] for sharing this info with us here.

My question is regarding the installing of the gen crystal on the JF? Was it a straight fit or did you have to modify the rehaut or bezel to make it fit? I know you modified the bezel for it to fit, and you shortened the rehaut, but I'm not clear if it was to make the crystal fit, or just part of the other mods you did here.
(My apologies if you had already answered this somewhere above; I am on Tapatalk and some parts of the posts do not always show up like they do on the computer.)
