I have 2 they both keep perfect time. I've read here that the 23J supposed to be reliable.
Would you say that the 23j movement is more reliable than the A7750 movement?

I'm guessing not as good as 7750, that's why 23J is much less. For me it was an easy choice here bec of the slim case and bec the secs @6 7750 I know is not as reliable long term.

The 23J that mount on these daytona is a movement Chinese racehorse of 21600 bhp, is very reliable and rarely have problems. Also if you were to break it the whole new movement costs about 20 euros, very economical.
The A7750 modified with seconds at 6 o'clock mounted in a variety of watches (daytona sec at 6, IWC Portuguese, iwc chrono igegneur etc etc) is totally unreliable, as the movement in the AP with seconds to 12 o'clock , their long-term, or sometimes in short, stops.

I have a coworker who has a rep daytona he received as a gift from his wife. Its one of those cheap "Winner" daytonas with the faux chrono hands.
Anyways, he came up to me today and said it died on him this weekend. Whats the process in switching it out for a new 21j? Do I need a specific 21j to accommodate the faux chrono hands?
