Since the crown on these new Daytonas seems to be a tad too low, I wonder why they didn't just move the whole movement that bit up which would fix both the rehaut and crown position issues.
Yes they could have done just that ,raise up the movement and that would have made the rehaut thinner and corrected the crown height for sure , But it would have also raised the crystal higher in the process, so maybe thats the reason the watch ended up like this? just a theory ... I am sure they were designing the watch case around this 23j movement ,and not make the case true 1:1 for the Rolex 4130 movement and THEN try to make the 23j movement fit ? I would like that question answered!
