Didn't think so at first, but after an hour or two the Crystal became foggy so... At least it's still running, so maybe the movement will be ok with a service.

It will be off to watchsmith when I come back from my holidays.

Sounds like there was/is a leak in in the gasket of the crystal i believe? Thank god it didnt fill up with water lol

never put a clock rep in water without first at least tested. Why do I say this? Because most of the time the cap is not properly closed.

How do I know this?

This is my stock SD BP immersed in one meter of water for 5 minutes. He worked perfectly, there was only a bit of condensation under the glass.


But in the evening he was dead, and this was the result when I opened it LOL




So.... DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME! LOL ha ha ha


However, I noticed that the last rep of high quality (such as the sub V6S) seem to have already greased the seals of crown and tube, but it is always better before use in in pool or sea to put the silicone grease on all gaskets then close well the caseback and then have it tested from local watchsmith :)

Probably not, unfortunately. But look at the bright side - at least you can now have the movement serviced/greased so it'll run like a champ with minimal stutter. I have 3 watches en route, one of which is the platona plus 2 bp 7750 bracelets to experiment with fit... the waiting is definitely the worst part.

I'm thinking of getting the ceramic version x2 from the same dealer blk and white with one being on a nice black leather croc gen strap from Rolex :)
