Overall I'd say it looks pretty darn good for the price and without TC this looks to be about the best option currently available.
But the mislabeled bridge would be something I myself wouldn't be able accept.
What a huge disappointment there.
Granted it can't be seen by anyone shy of opening it up but that would be a huge deal breaker for me because I'd know it was there.

Thanks to the OP for this very informative thread and kudos the JF Factory for coming ahead on it.
I suspect that just like all the other previous "quest for the best" versions, there will likely be more than a few versions to follow this one.
And if this is any indication of what to expect of the 16610 LN from JF I'd dare say they won't stop until they produce the best one ever offered.

Just received mine this morning but rushing about will do pics later. First things to notice are better rehaut, thinner dw font although still a fraction thick and better cg's. Also Sel fit is improved. Out of the box this looks pretty good to be honest. Dial font is much crisper and whiter too!
There still appears to be a layer of ar under the whole crystal as I reported on my LV which makes the rehaut look off so I'll strip it down later and check retainer gasket etc.

That new engraved rehaut looks really really good IMO. If I didn't already have a TC I'd be all over one of these

No unless you use a gen or sh 3135 movement

No.you would need to sand the date disc .but if you have a yuki or sh or gen movement installed yes its fits no mods

Wtf thats bad.ive gold the old movement with 3135 but had the position flaw.but i also bought a new autowind plate so now i have the position spelt correctly

I can confirm the retainer is fixed.

Also it all fits tighter on this one too. I adjusted the click spring tension and now it feels very good.
I have left the rehaut alone as it doesn't bother me on this one.

The crystal does still have Ar on the inside so I've removed it and now looks better.

I can recommend this one to anyone looking for a classic Sub to wear without major Franken work and in the absence of Tc.

The xtal has a slight black hole aswell or ar at least.some m serial subs have ar.the rehaut wont need to be removed as its fine and you cant see the font flaw on wrist.cg look good and lugs and sel look good.movement good apart from the 3132 stamp but its all good. But i hope they improve the font on the rehaut engravings though that will be amazing if they do. Wear it well buddy

I noticed that as well. The lume plots look rather voluminous.

Thanks for the detailed pics botsyboy. They are very helpful. I think they have pushed me over the edge and have convinced me that the JF 16610 LN is worthy of being my next watch purchase.

which TD do you know that can supply just the mid case/case back for this watch? I've asked one and was told they cant get it...
