No worries, I appreciate the comment concerning the color.
To be honest, when I first got it I thought it looked lighter than the pictures I saw online of the gen APs.
However, a friend of mine here in Miami has a Gen, saw him the other day and I really didn't see the difference between mine and his.
Obviously I didn't mention that mine was a Rep, and we didn't put one side to side, but as far as looking a dew feet away, he couldn't tell and I didn't notice the difference. (except, of course, for the case thickness)
Anyone has any idea on how to modify to a thinner case?
Here are a few more pics, let me know what you guys think about the color.
(Just FYI, I live in Miami, I suppose it may be brighter than some of the pictures from other Rep owners).

Hell - that is what i call a stunning rep. Even though they didn't get the tapisserie pattern right - i think it is as good as it gets at the moment.

Would love to see a full comparison though and first of all a "how does the rep feel next to the gen"
Even If I'm aware that it is like comparing two worlds haha
^^ in terms of feel, the rep is close. On the wrist they look identical. Gen dial pops more and the gen sunburst is more dynamic and in your face but man the rep is sexy!! Like really sexy! But then again I am not too anal with my comparisons.
Rep bracelet does feel a little rough and sharp around the edges/corners but it’s unfair to compare the finish on a £16k watch vs a £0.27k watch. Rep brushing looks good.
Rep case looks and feels a lot thicker than gen. makes the v3 wear and handle differently. We need another locolouie to start shaving casebacks.

Thanks for the quick write up! I Agree with you! But never had the opportunity to handle a Gen Boutique Edt. But I guess the White one will be my next as the blue V3 is not enough for me already
As far as I know slaughterer62 does this job regarding the thinning of Case and Bezel already

Can you post a picture showing the side of the watch GEN to see the thickness difference? There are a few modders which do the caseback mod.

Damn gen actually looks freaking close to v2 again.
Previous gen was close to v3 but it was slightly more
on the gray side I’m bright light. ill check AP boutique this weekend to see what’s up.

I haven’t tried v3 white, but I’ve various white v1, v2, v2j.....and to my eyes gen white dial is significant different to rep. Same order of magnitude difference as rep blue vs gen.
White looks closer to gen in pictures but in real life....man .....gen white is another planet.

Know what you mean and agree on that!
But as I've seen the recent V3 batch i must admit that it got the best Tapisserie square pattern out of all colors/ versions.
And as I've already handled the white and even the V2 I need to say it is as good as it gets when it comes to a 370$ Rep compared to the real thing.
Next step would a better tapisserie as the color is good IMHO
And then a 3120 clone - but that will stay a dream for the next few years i guess haha

In sunlight the V2 Version was a lot closer to your gen

Yeah they are very close to gen.
i was thinking about getting v3 but I didn’t like the fact that in certain lighting it looks so muddy almost gray.
AP seem to be changing those colors almost every year now.
Remember the one with white date wheel? Then they went back to blue DW. It’s crazy how many changes they do to those 15400 butique editions.
I wish they were more consistent and didn’t make so many changes. Also I don’t like the fact they are trying to be trendy with all those colors of divers and other ROO. If they continue they may ruin the brand - too many special editions. At that point people don’t care about that because there is nothing special about over saturating market. There are just too many of them.
