Guys,
gen blue 15400 is darker and not as shiny comparing to old and that new JF version.
Dial squares should be sharper and there is still issue with minute markers.
I think I will skip this release.
Somewhat lackluster effort from JF.

It look better but it still should be less shiny and slightly more dark.
There is not much shine on gen dial.

I've seen a few of those in NYC and also in Miami a couple of weeks ago and they didn't have shinny / highly reflective dials.
Salesperson in Miami AD said that the one in the display was added recently.

I don't think gen 15400 with blue shinny dial exists.
JF 15400 blue is way off and still seems to be off.

Nope it's not the same. This pic has high color contrast. I have exactly the same watch.

Newest JF 15400 blue is more accurate, still not quite there but more accurate than previous version.

Basically nobody can prove (beyond doubt) that JF blue is not a gen variation. Nobody knows what gen should look like. We're all relying on photoshopped gen images and quick glances at AD. How do we know there isn't different gen variations, from different batches with different hues/shades etc.

I personally don't give a shit about the colour but the printing and minute markers is way off

Hardcore AP guys will know the difference. JF is simply too shinny.
I've seen a few 15400 blue and they weren't as shinny as JF.

I think that new version is better but they should tone it down a little bit more.

When you see pics of rep compared to that new JF please post them here.

I think newer version of gen 15400 blue dial with fat logo will be quite close, it's a little bit lighter in color than version with slim logo.

The only difference I can spot is the slightly flatter tapissery (resulting in better minute markers). The black and the white versions had this update done already. So there is nothing really new there as far as I can see. Moreover in the 15400 bracelet thread there was a discussion recently about a significantly upgraded clasp. The so called new "v2" here does not have it. In conclusion: I don't believe this is the promised new version of JF. Also, I did not hear Angus mention the new version already
