Its a common issue on rep watches had it with my regmariner and my AP 15202 quartz
At a certain price point it's fine but jf 15400 is top of the pile when it comes to this model cos they get these little details right...And moving away from the screw in link seems to be cost cutting maybe which I think is bad news for this model..

They make that with all Models the price is not important here the chinese people hammering every screw in. They dont care how much we pay some threads (where you screw in the screws) are completly destroyed saw that on a Noob V6s aswell. Its Replica watches i mean what do you except?

Edit: I dont know about the "new" pins on the bracelets maybe they want to cut the costs down seems pretty stupid to me when you cannot resize the bracelet properly but who knows.

shitty minute markers like the blue ones but the blue ones have the most "gen" like tapseries.

The blue is unique because it's a boutique exclusive and not many people own the Gen to begin with, to be able to compare it. It's beauitful.

The black is of course, a classic, but yea I can understand why it can be touted as boring.

I would have thought the black or even blue would suit me best...but it turns out that the silver is totally brings a different touch. Some have commented that it's too feminine but I think it's just great.

On the whole, you won't be disappointed with any of the JF 15400 v2's! Get anyone of them or get then all!!

Blue is not that off mate. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference in a half light.

To me 15400 black dial is too boring.
Depends what your into... in my opinion I think the 15400 is sparkly/shiny enough and the understated black dial allows the polished outer bezel and polished 5 min markers and of course the bracelet to do all the talking when the light hits!! Blue dial is a bit gimmicky for a watch especially a rep.. but that's just me! Different strokes for different folks ;)

Yeah I've heard people say it's feminine too.. I don't think so just don't think there is enough contrast between the dial the logo and markers, bezel and bracelet...it's all just well........ silver. ha!

Nothing seems to stand out, dial would need to be more whitish silver but silver rep dial in some lights does look good though!!!

The blue is not off had it side by side to a gen and the difference was not really there only the tapseries. JF did an amazing job on here.

I get what you mean by the silver dial looking all too silver/steel on the whole and lacking the "contrast"; but this is where the genius design of Genta comes in!

The 15400 isn't just any steel watch. The way the bezel and bracelet are brushed, sitting on that case.
It catches light so beautifully as you move your wrist and there's just that sparkle effect to it which is amazing for stainless steel.
And couple that with the trademark tapesserie design on the dial which really is 3D especially on the silver dial...perfect!

I find myself staring at my wrist and moving it to admire how the dial, bezel and bracelet - basically the whole watch - bask in all its glory.

Haha I talk like a man in love...but I won't deny it. I would recommend the Royal Oak to any watch enthusiast, rep or Gen!

I've had the chance to try on all 3 dials at an AD and they were all great. I think it's a matter of which one "connects" with you the most, that captures your heart, instead of just what others like myself are saying. Everyone's opinion on dial colour differs but if you go with the colour that clicks with you...you're gonna be a happy camper.

Oops there I go again, writing too much when it comes to the Royal Oak, ha.
Have a good weekend gents!

Yea definitely! I really like the two tone on silver dial too, but the non fully plated rose gold links are stopping me.
