Yeah I've heard people say it's feminine too.. I don't think so just don't think there is enough contrast between the dial the logo and markers, bezel and bracelet...it's all just well........ silver. ha!
Nothing seems to stand out, dial would need to be more whitish silver but silver rep dial in some lights does look good though!!!
I get what you mean by the silver dial looking all too silver/steel on the whole and lacking the "contrast"; but this is where the genius design of Genta comes in!
The 15400 isn't just any steel watch. The way the bezel and bracelet are brushed, sitting on that case.
It catches light so beautifully as you move your wrist and there's just that sparkle effect to it which is amazing for stainless steel.
And couple that with the trademark tapesserie design on the dial which really is 3D especially on the silver dial...perfect!
I find myself staring at my wrist and moving it to admire how the dial, bezel and bracelet - basically the whole watch - bask in all its glory.
Haha I talk like a man in love...but I won't deny it. I would recommend the Royal Oak to any watch enthusiast, rep or Gen!
I've had the chance to try on all 3 dials at an AD and they were all great. I think it's a matter of which one "connects" with you the most, that captures your heart, instead of just what others like myself are saying. Everyone's opinion on dial colour differs but if you go with the colour that clicks with you...you're gonna be a happy camper.
Oops there I go again, writing too much when it comes to the Royal Oak, ha.
Have a good weekend gents!
