Nope, JF didn't do any updates to 15400 "v2".
It's the same "v2" that was already available a few months ago.

On my QC pics the logo looked very different/better compared to my good old blue 15400. The watch will be here within a few days, So I can make a better comparison..

A quick random question....has anyone of you ever walked into an authorised ap dealer with your rep on?
I've worn my ap rep into a ad for hublot and rolex in dubai but they obviously knew it was an ap but not clue on authenticity.

Just wondering what others experience was?

Either you have or you haven't.
By lying about it you just make it worse.

If you did, say: sorry it won't happen again. We all move along.

I did it once with my rep Pam390 in an Omega, U.Nardin and other secondary brands shop..nobody realized anything, surely because they weren't enough experts to recognize Pam or others..

Was just reading the thread on my fav watch and I apologise because I'm still unaware that it is frowned upon to wear reps to an AD. Could I ask the more senior members here to englighten me/us?

That being said, the 15400 still has got big pretty obvious tells like the thickness, date font and dial; so don't go to an AD unless one is looking for an embarrassing episode.
It's akin to walking into an LV boutique with a rep bag - they'll cut it up.

Date font and dial ? Can you please show me what you're talking about ?
The thickness difference is obviously there, but how can you tell when someone's wearing the watch ?

I was referring to looking at it in person next to a gen, my eyes aren't that trained to be able to spot the small differences in dial pattern and font if I saw a rep on its own, apart from the thickness.
Either ways, I won't want to be caught wearing reps to the AD.

I meant I haven't done it at ap. Did it at the hublot as originally stated.

Didn't know it wasn't approved of. Obviously do now. Sorry didn't mean to cause offence. Learnt my lesson. Thanks

wanted to post a few pics of the 15400 with a seiko SKX. the seiko is 42mm and its interesting how the 41mm AP matches up against it. may help those who are trying to decide if the size of the 15400 suits them

Date font is spot on buddy. Dials are pretty close too except for minute markers.

I'm not a senior member by any means but, walking into an AD is rubbing the rep into their faces, pretty much insulting them and calling unwanted and unnecessary attention to our hobby.

Now, wether they can spot the difference or not is a totally different kettle of fish.

Just don't do it!
No need to anyways, as in, what's the point??

re. LV, not my kind of brand but, why would they cut it up? It is you property.

Anyhow, back to 15400s

I think I need to take the sticker out by now but I am not ready ;)

Seriously, i have self diagnosed myself as I have three jf 15400s (one from each color). : I have a serious addiction !!!

Not too surprising for a fellow forum member but it is true.

Also, another issue is the fact that I can justify wearing one 15400 but not three!

I dont even mention the other brands (rep and few gens) I own.

Ok not too many people knew our brands, and the most they know maybe are Rolex, Tag Heuer or Breitling but still this many watch is very hard to justify both price/affording them wise and just quantity wise :)
