To reply to your previous question, I'd go 2xAR instead of JF Xtal after I installed the gen Xtal.
It has minimal reflection, almost inexistent. It's really glare-proofed, lol

This looks good trust me I saw much worse. But you are right the actually Batch looks like shit. I waiting for Mine, my watch is only the 3 Marker crooked maybe I can found someone who can fix that.Just got QC for my order. As I wrote earlier the quality seems downgraded - 12 o'clock markers are not alligned (it is repairable) 3 o'clock marker is scewed, something wrong with the bezel screw at 5 o'clock (might be the quality of the photo) and what bothers me more is the alignment of the case with the caseback and bezel. Will not accept that.

To clarify, is the V2 just for the blue dial? Is it just an ugraded color or also TAP change as well (ie smaller/larger squares)?

Was that quality control pic from Ryan at intime?
I'm about to order from there, but seems like there's a couple of concerns about quality control.
Should I go through another dealer. Or wait for a new batch?
Also what usually happens when you reject the quality control. Do you get an opportunity for another, or is the full amount credited back to your card right away?

They all from the same factory so another dealer will have the same batches.

The V2 had a different shape of the dial and an different light "effect". Yours look like V1 because of the smaller logo. The V2 has a fat logo.
"Noob" has issues as well with the Submariner Models. I dont know whats going on in China but they are fucxing up somethings in the last time.

Yes, that is InTime. As mentioned it is not TD's fault -the watches come from the same factory. The first watch sample was blocked by QC Dept and they even have not shown it to me. This piece looks really not good to me. If the whole batch of this quality I would rather take ceramic diver

Maybe a trusted dealer can chime in with info and advice if we should wait for a new batch and when is the soonest we can order.

Any idea if Guru xtal would fit in the JF 15400?
And any comments on Guru xtal vs Prof?
I ask because I have a guru xtal in my parts box and wondering if I should pop it into my "V2" blue JF 15400.

If it's for JF ROO, then yes it fits
No idea about Prof Xtal, I never had one...

Just got a message from InTime - blue dials are out of stock and the waiting time is at least one week. Hopefully we gonna have a better quality batch than the recent one!

A lovely blue dial second batch, thanks to all the ones that helped me identify it.. as I got first QCs with the older batch, and rejected it.
I loved the fact that JF invested in making their own plastic wrap with AP name and their name on it.. that is hilarious.. :laugh:
