Hi guys I'm really new to the forum, bought my first rep in Kuala lumpur on holiday, an IWC big pilot, it's crap quality cost £35 and has smitten me. Can anybody point me in the direction of a place to buy the best rep and how much should I pay? Love your top gun BTW.

For the non working dopple chrono there is no solution, OK, but I don't understand why makers don't never fix the differences in side TOP GUN logo !!

Ceramic is the coating method. They coat the steel or Alu with ceramic coat like DLC or PVD. Full ceramic means case fully coated with ceramic, no steel areas

By theway The watch is 47 mm and It is very thick, almost like DSSD so means heavy but not much that DSSD

Ah no, AFIK this one is a full ceramic case. ie: the case is ceramic, not coated. Same as the gen. When the dealers say "full ceramic" that is what they mean.

It's definitely full ceramic case. The first one I had, I opened it up and adjusted the rate/beat to the timegrapher. Putting it back together, the caseback thread jammed... To salvage as much as I could from the watch, I decided to crack the case to get the caseback off and remove and store the movement. Hammer with a ball point cracked the case where it says Top Gun. It cracked all the way through. If it was ceramic coated metal, my methods would not have worked as well I'm wearing the 2nd Top Gun 3799 now as I type this!

Cuz I always want to know in others photos if I'm on the fence on getting a watch... Wrist size is 7.20-7.25 dep on temp. Here's a couple more photos. Can't stop looking at this thing. Some small diff between gen visually but you have to have handled gen in store quite a bit... I have...

My advice is GET ONE! Wears like a Pam. Really. To clarify lugs end right before my arm ends so its not hanging over my arm. Perfect size for a pilot IMHO.
