IWC MIRAMAR big pilot variants GEN vs REP pics up!

Been looking for a IWC miramar rep, buy in avail. It's either the

wrong size 42mm instead of 46mm
wrong dial black color instead of grey
wrong case pvd instead of ceramic black
wrong date plate in white instead of black
wrong movement quartz instead of auto

Who knows whee to get a closer one?

Easiest fix from above looks like getting a black datewheel to replace the white one.. Should be cheap enough.

Yes the black date wheel has been fixed. Heard the 46mm is out but not supplied by the TDs in here. I wonder if there's a chance to get an automatic with this.

The watch in question. Kuvarsit is not a TD here but is on the sister forum RWG1.

No doubt theres improvement on the V2 miramar rep
: date wheel correct colour from white to grey.
: dial colour from initial black to grey.

Hope a V3 will be out soon, with an automatic movement possible .
Just hope my repu will go up in no time ... still having a -86 for posting without tags.. sigh

That watch looks like a hot mess. The GEN looks nothing like the rep. There are other IWC's that are better options right now. I would stay away from this one.

Aside from the factories themselves, I don't think so. This isn't high on their list of watches to rep (even though this already has a V2) I would imagine.

Basing on experience from PAM reps, I would say it could very well be the case (pun intended). Even the newer reps like the PAM386 which should be ceramic are just made with DLC coated SS cases.

I just picked up 2 from Kuvarsit. They look fantastic in person, even have different serial no's which is damn cool for a $150-160 rep. Love the microstepped sweep large chrono hand. Highly recommend, great transaction too

Sorry to say, but: that's no BigPilot Miramar, that's a PilotChrono TopGun Miramar! And a quartz... no, absolutely no way!

As BrentonJ linked above me, read the thread and wait for the BigPilot Miramar rep in the next weeks. My next one.

I only hope they don't put her in the green case like shown in the thread above! The BigPilot Miramar has a dark grey case ceramic case.
