well, obviously you have got just one perfect example of the 3878 watch, perfectly alignment of 12 o'clock marker and data wheel just in place which is usually a common issue with ZF's 3878. as long as you can't target those issues you are good to go. Wise purchase, cant wait to see this beauty in real life to compare later with ZF's 3878, especially the actual sunburst effect makes me curious.

Thanks, its a ZF. I had to reject 4 pieces before getting this perfect sample. Straight markers and lume, and all dates are perfectly centered

Just finished reading this thread, still confused which maker is the best. If someone can answer it below in a simple table format it would be great. I am trying to determine which factory have the best parts. I've been holding up for 6 mths now because of the sec@6.


4 maker currently on 3878
ZF v2 or v3, V6, V2, SWF

Best dial -
60min @12 - V6
Sec@6 new gear - V6
Case -
Lume -
Crystal -
QC - not ZF

^ I vote v6 after receiving my ceramic top gun. Their build is awesome and no crooked markers/no scratches on the sunburst/no dust/DW alignment is good and also 60 counter @12.

ZF is still good if you are willing to risk their QC/assembly issues. You might have to reject numerous QC's or even send back to China if its something that QC cant pick up

i vote zf fac, the dial is stunning and the movement is rock solid, beside the 60min counter which i dont use anyway
