Its a HEAVY Daytona kinda day....

Hi Everyone!

I'm on the home stretch for the first two tungsten builds. Just waiting for the CF oyster straps to arrive. I've had a number of daytonas from gen to CF v1 to v3 and everything in between and these feel incredible, even for just the case! It is really that heavy!

This specific case only accepts oysterflex bands (which I'm missing in the pic) but I was curious about the total weight if a stainless steel band were to be used (I tried attaching clean and btf oyster bands without any luck). The difference in weight between a full gold daytona and my pic with the stainless band are lots of small things that arent helping tip the scale like the SS bezel, SS end links and SS band.

From the weight of just the parts minus the oysterflex band it seems to be right on par with a gen oysterflex daytona. I don't have the oysterflex bands (with metal) to add but we should only be off about 15 - 20 grams, currently at 136oz. Once I get the oyster straps I'll throw everything together and update you guys with the total weight.

Awesome! I'd love to order a case from you. How does it work? It's tungsten-copper alloy, right? So it's naturally rose gold coloured/ you plate them rose gold? Or not needed? I'd love to get some more information. And it's plug and play with the other parts (pushers, cashback, etc - or are these tungsten copper, too?)

Yes me too! I hand picked the meteorite dials from buff. There are roughly 3 options.... lighter, med and darker colors. This would be med in color.

These are plated Rose Gold and that's all that has been planned for now. Specifically I'm not sure why if it has to do with the color being closest to RG or not. I also confirmed with Flan_dad and he cannot replate this to YG or WG.

From what I could gather the pushers/crown, are supposed to be but I have a feeling they are not (even though they feel heavy) Tungsten is a very dense and hard to cut material. Even using carbide blades break often. Part of the reason I don't think they made the bracelet is because milling end links and all the small parts out of tungsten would be extremely challenging for production and take way too long. So my guess is they are not tungsten but I would have to confirm with a scale at some point.
