Hello all,

Here are a few pics from the first tungsten daytona case build. Since this is real meteorite what's neat is every dial has its own characteristics. What's cool about this dial is from certain angles it has many dark lines and from other angles it's very bright and light colored. Very cool it see turning on your wrist in the sun. The tungsten definitely creates a top heavy feel especially paired with the oysterflex band.

The total build came out to 149.4 grams which is pretty darn close to gen. I think gen is about 150-155 grams.

Anywho, I'm looking forward to more of these builds.

I have 5 sets of parts coming in with 4 already spoken for. This is not a cheap build especially if you are using really good parts.

Yes That's how we get really close to gen weight. Tungsten has a density very close to gold. Infact, lots of fake gold bars are made of plated tungsten.

The build below with straps is almost 150 grams! Almost identical to gen which weighs in at 160grams.

How about not plating it? Can we use it for a 116519? What does bare tungsten look like?

Tungsten is darker than titanium usually.
And they are very very tough metal.

Yes its surprising how fast it goes through a carbide bit. Milling it is definitely one of the challenges.

Awesome! I'd love to order a case from you. How does it work? It's tungsten-copper alloy, right? So it's naturally rose gold coloured/ you plate them rose gold? Or not needed? I'd love to get some more information. And it's plug and play with the other parts (pushers, cashback, etc - or are these tungsten copper, too?)
