The big question you should be asking is if the dials feet are going to fit in your movement. Many gen dials, like if FM Crazy Hours and others have the feet in those exact location below 3-4 and above 9-10, but they rep movement wants the feet to be nearer to 12 but on the 11 side and near 6, but in the 5 side. Maybe this is just a countermeasure Franck Muller has bit cutting the feet and trying to place them carefully is tenuous work as you don't want to mess up the front or business side of the dial. I have modded any Rolex dial to ETA and rep movements but considering this its best to make certain. I was lucky to have purchased 3 gen dials as that's how they were bundled. I tried soldering one of the feet and melted some lume. I destroyed dial or needs reluming. The best silver crazy hours dial had not been lumed yet and it time I will replace the colored dreams rep dial with the gen but then have to pay to have it lumed. Vac quoted me $215 just to lume a FM dual as the numbers are big, curvy and thin in places. Luckily this isn't a problem with most brands.
